Hello Everybody!
Seeing as Halloween is drawing closer and closer I thought it would be a good idea to show you guys another makeup tutorial to help you decide what to do if you are undecided with your costume yet! So this week I thought I would go down the creepy doll road because I don't see many people dress as this for Halloween so lets get started!
Step 1:
To begin with you are going to want to use a creme concealer that is a little lighter that your natural skin tone because you are going to be using a lighter foundation than normal. Apply the concealer over and imperfections and under your dark eyes to cover any dark circles because obviously dolls don't have dark circles. Then you will need to blend with a sponge until smooth.
Step 2:
Apply a foundation that is lighter than your skin tone and one that is a little dewy to give you skin a porcelain effect, I also blended this with a sponge for fuller coverage and to make it look more packed on.
Step 3:
Apply concealer again to hi light and fully smooth out your complexion, again blend with a sponge.
Step 4:
Next powder very lightly just to set the foundation in place but not to make your foundation appear matte.
Step 5:
For the eyebrows use a shade you would normally use but apply it very lightly so that your eyebrows don't go super dark. I am using the shade Whiskey from the Urban Decay Smokey pallet, I then brushed it through with a spool and set in place with some eyebrow gel.
Step 6:
Apply a light shimmery eyeshadow to your eye lids. I am using the Urban Decay moon dust eyeshadow in the shade Cosmic. All of the colours should be shimmery so that your face has a shiny porcelain look.
Step 7:
For the crease I am using a light shimmery pink eyeshadow I am using cliniques strawberry fudge and lightly blending it through the crease for a pretty girly but faint touch of colour.
Step 8:
To give your eyes that large doll like look you will need a white and a black eyeliner, take the white eyeliner and apply on the top and bottom water line to make your eyes look larger and then to exaggerate it even more draw a larger water line and then taking your black eyeliner draw the edge of the water line where the natural waterline would be if that makes sense.
Step 9:
Next take some black liquid liner and draw a very small line with a little cat eye, this will help conceal the eyelashes we are about to apply.
Step 10:
Now take some whispy eyelashes. I am using macs number 35 lashes. Apply these to the very edge of your top lash line and add a little bit of mascara to join the falseys with your real lashes.
Step 11:
Taking the same liquid liner draw around the edge of the black kine you just did under your eyes and also draw on some false lashes.
Step 12:
Now apply some tapered eyelashes to the false bottom lash line you really give the effect of doll like eyes.
Step 13:
Next apply a heavy amount of pink blush to the apple of your cheeks, also use a shimmery one if you have one. I have used a blush by sleek in the shade rose gold.
Step 14:
I then took a medium pink lip liner and drew a hear shape on my lips that I had pre lightened with the same white lip liner as on the eyes.
Step 15:
Then take a baby pink lipstick, I am using jeffree star liquid lipstick in the shade 714 and applied on the inside if the heart i just drew but extending the bottom line to create a baby lip shape, i then went over the white part with the same sponge i applied my foundation with the blend the edge of the lip in with the rest of the face.
Step 16:
Lastly take some goldish hi light and apply heavily to the nose, chin, forehead and upper lip to again make the face appear porcelain. And that's it you are now ready to turn heads at your Halloween party!
