My Christmas Lush Splurge!

Hello Everyone!

So I was a little bit naughty and had a massive lush splurge because i love all of their Christmas products,i also bought a few autumn and Halloween products too! I Love lush so much i can never be without it haha, i love how unique and creative they are, i had never seen a bath bomb with glitter and goodies inside until i used my first lush bath bomb and i was so pleasantly surprised that I've been hooked ever since, I haven't used most of these products yet so this won't really be a review, more of a haul, so lets start!

1-Never Mind The Ballistics
I have never seen a lush bath bomb before with a hard cloth oily coat around it! it smells glorious! The scent of this one i would say is very citrusy and i think the harder outside coat may be some kind of oil because when i pick it up it slips out of my hand cannot wait to use this one!

2- Santa's Belly
This is a shower jelly with sparkles and stars in, i love shower jelly they're so fun and again nothing like I've ever seen before, also if you flip the pot upside down you can see Santa's gold bet buckle, that's what i love about lush, they pay so much attention to detail! The sent of this one is very warm and sweet but also with a floral kind of undertone if that makes sense?

3- Monsters Ball
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how cut this bath bomb is! the scent if this bath bomb is again quite zesty and smells very much like lime, ill be kind of sad to use this one just because of how cute he/she looks haha.

4- Peeping Santa
Again how cute is this one?! This one is a bubble bar which means you crumble it under the running water and it creates lost of thick creamy bubbles! this one smell very sweet and creamy kind of like chocolate!

5- Santasaurus
Once again how cute is this one! This one is also a bubble bar but instead of crumbling it under the running water you can just hold it underneath or just swirl it around your bath and it will again create lovely bubbles. This one also smells quite citrusy but more fruity than the others.

6- Northern Lights

I have actually used this one before and oh my gosh the colours that come out of it are like nothing I've ever seen before! it creates beautiful swirls of deep and vibrant colours, its stunning! The other side if the bath bomb has a blue circle instead of a yellow one. the scent of this one is quite floral in my opinion, however i can quite put my finger on the exact scent!

7- Ruby Red Slippers
This one is so pretty obviously its inspired by the movie wizard of oz, this little ruby slipper is covered in red sparkles and is gorgeous. This one is again a bubble bar so just like the others you crumble it under the running water. Again this one is very citrusy.

8- Mistletoe
I have to admit at first sniff I'm not a missive fan of this scent but it is still very pretty, it smells quite herbal and I'm not a massive fan but hopefully when its in the water ill like it!

9- Luxury Lush Pad
Love this its so colourful and looks kind of like Christmas pudding with the little bit of holly on the top,  I'm intrigued to find how how this looks in the water. The scent of this one is very sweet and creamy almost like a desert, whatever it is i love it!

10-  Candy Mountain
Love this one so much 😍 not only is it amazingly beautiful but the smell i think is my favourite it smells just like a bowl of sweets. This one is a bubble bar which i have used before and i can say that when this is in your warm bath it smells even better, it made the whole upstairs of my house smell like sweets!

11- Pumpkin
Can you believe that this is lushes first ever proper pumpkin bath bomb. I can't quite put my finger on this scent but apparently its supposed to smell like pumpkin pie, which i have never smelled before which is probably why i don't recognise the scent but none the less it smells lovely and i can't wait to use it.

12- Autumn Leaf
This literally makes your bath look like autumn! all of the colours are so deep and warm its amazing! this one smells very sweet and herbal and maybe a little bit vanillary? again its not a smell i can identify easily haha.

13- Bird Bath
How adorable is this?! This bubble bar again has a very warn sweet citrus scent, also this one makes your bath sooo frothy and creamy its so lovely to use after a long day!

14- So White
I have used this one before and i believe it looks more like an apple this year, other years it has just been a pain white bath bomb but this year it has a leaf and has more of an apple shape. This bath bomb again has a citrus smell, even kind of an apple scent, when you plop this into your bath its so milky and creamy and leaves your skin super soft and smooth!

15- Shoot For The Stars
This one is inspired by a clear night sky and has lots of beautiful gold glitter, this one smells orangey so this one i imagine would really lift your mood and wake you up so i defiantly cannot wait to use this one!

And that all, We made it to the end! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post! let me know in the comments if you have used any of these before and which one is your favourite? i would love to know! feel free to share i would very much appreciate it! Thanks for reading ☺♡

Autumnal makeup look!

Hello Everybody!

Today I am going to be showing you my favourite autumnal makeup look.
I think autumn makeup is my favourite because i just love the warm and berry colours.
so lets get to it!

Step 1
Apply your favourite concealer to any ares you think may need it, I like to apply mine under the eyes and on any red spots i may have, i then blend with a make up sponge.

Step 2
Now apply your favourite foundation, I am using the Rimmel Stay Matte foundation because it lasts all day and it has a matte finish so you don't need to powder throughout the day
because it also never goes shiny!

Step 3
Next is eyebrows, for this i am using the Kylie Jenner eyeliner brush because i love how precise it is for my eyebrows, i am also using the smashbox full exposure pallet and i am using the matte brown shade just because its a perfect colour for my skin tone and doesn't look too dark, although for this look you are going to want your eyebrows to look fairly bold to match the bold lips.

Step 4
Now add some brow gel to hold your brows in place, this also makes the hairs look more defined as you can see in the photo my right eyebrow has the gel and my left doesn't and you can really tell the difference, i am using the soap and glory brow gel.

Step 5
I am going to do a rose gold eye look so to achieve this i am going to be using the Kylie Jenner eyeshadow in the colour rose gold and i am just applying these to the lid using a flat eyeshadow brush.

In the crease i am using the clinique strawberry fudge duo but only the brown shade, apply a small amount on a fluffy eye brush and blend through the crease, then take a smaller fluffy brush and the the same colour under the bottom waterline and that's it for the eyeshadow! so easy.

Step 6:
Take an eyelash curler and curl your lashes, then apply a few thick coasts of mascara, you can use false eyelashes to if you want but i didn't just because i don't want my eyes to look really bold, which is also the reason i haven't applied liquid liner.

Step 7
Apply bronzer under your cheek bones, on your temples and the sides of your forehead to give your skin a glowey bronzed look, this will also make your face appear more chiseled and defined.

Step 8
Now apply a rose gold blusher to your cheeks, this will really help the rose gold on your eyes pop! this blush i am using is by sleek in the shade rose gold.

Step 9
Apply some high light to your cheeks again in a pink colour, i am using the urban decay highlight i the shade fire ball. I used flash in this picture so you could see just how pretty this highlight is in the light.

Step 10
Apply a dark berry lipstick, i am using the mac Selena range in the shade dreaming of you.

And that's it you're done!! i hope you enjoyed this blog post! feel free to leave a comment below! thank you so much for reading! :) <3

How to Make Bonfire Night/ Camping Cupcakes!

Hello Everybody!
So... Its bonfire night already?! Where has the time gone? I am throwing a little firework party so i thought some little bonfire cupcake would be perfect and these cupcakes don't have to just be for bonfire night these would totally fit in with camping too! Lets get started!

You Will Need:
225g caster sugar
225g butter
4 medium eggs
2tbs drinking chocolate
2tbs water
225g self raising flour
ready to use frosting
orange food colouring
mini marshmallows
match makers
edible glitter (optional
cupcake cases
cupcake tin

Step 1:
preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

Step 2:

Whisk together your butter and caster sugar until you have a light and fluffy consistency, This time I am using an electric whisker just because i was a little bit short for time and this will combine you mixture super fast.

Step 3:

Next is time to add the eggs so, take one egg and crack into your mixture being very careful not to get any shell into your mixture and whisk again with your electric mixer, you can also whisk by hand it will just take a little longer. You want to mix in one egg at a time so that your mixture doesn't get too wet and curdle, if this does happen don't worry because we will be adding flour later which usually fixes the curdling but if it doesn't just keep adding a little more flour until the mixture fully combines.

Step 4:

After that, it is time to make your mixture deliciously chocolatey, for this you will need to mix together two tbs on drinking chocolate or cocoa powder which ever one you prefer, and mix in the 2tbs of water until you get a thick creamy consistency, if your mixture is too runny add more powder and if it is too thick add more water, you will then pant to pour the chocolate into your mixture and whisk in as well.

Step5:

Now pour in half of your flower and slowly fold into your mixture with a metal spoon in the figure of eight once the flour has completely combined add the other half and repeat.

Step 6:

Put your cake cases into your cupcake tin and spoon in a generous amount of your mixture, then pop a mini marshmallow into the centre and cover with another small dollop of mixture. Repeat until all of your cases are full, the pop into the oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 7:

Whilst your cakes are baking its time to colour the icing. Empty out the contents of your ready to use icing into a bowl and pour in some orange for colouring until you get a colour you are happy with, the place to bowl into the fridge to harden it up a little bit for piping later.

Step 8:

After the icing has been placed into the fridge, take your match makers and empty the entire contents and chop into smaller sticks to look like little logs, once you have done this also place it into the fridge so they don't melt.

Step 9:

once your cakes are done, take them out of the oven. If they look a bit gooey on top don't worry, its just the melted marshmallow. Now its time for the fun part, decorating! Get out your open star nozzle and place into a piping bag, if your piping bag is not pre cut you will want to put it too. Then plop your icing into the piping bag and twist the top to push the icing town to the bottom of the bag (i forgot to take a picture of this, sorry)
then starting on the outside of the cupcake start to draw a circle and gradually swirl it into the middle and pull up to get a high peak.

Step 10:

Take your pre cut match makers and create a pentagon shape around the edge of your cupcake, then take some more match makers and place them between the gaps of the other match makers to look as though they are logs around a fire.

Step 11:

Add a mini marshmallow to the top of the icing to look like a roasting marshmallow and sprinkle with some edible glitter.

For those of you that don't like a lot of icing on your cupcake you can just to a smaller dollop of icing in the middle of the cupcake and just apply one layer of match makers and it will still look just as cute!

And that's it you're all done and now you can demolish your delicious cupcakes!
