Product Empties!

Hello Everyone!
In this little impromptu mid week blog post I thought I would show you my most recent product empties because I have really gotten into these types of blog posts so I thought why not do my own?!

1) NARS super orgasm blush
I love this blush it is my go to blush so I was so sad when I ran out that I immediately had to repurchase it, it looks so lovely with the gold sparkly shimmer gleaming over the pink, it has kind of rose gold look to it which obv I love!

2) Gucci Guilty Perfume
I was given this from my brother as a birthday gift a few years ago and I have only just finished it which is amazing because I wear it all the time and its only just run out! its a very grown up scent its kind of like a deep musky talcum powder which doesn't sound like it would smell nice but trust me it does! maybe if this perfume was on sale somewhere I would repurchase it.

3) L'OREAL professional techni art liss control
As I am a qualified hairdresser I have access to professional products, but don't worry I'm sure you could find this online somewhere, this product is my hair holy grail, I use a pea sized amount on damp towel dried hair and just spread evenly through the ends and it makes my hair so sleek and shiny and minimalists any fly away hairs that i might have, if i want an extremely sleek look i will again use a pea sized amount and using my finger comb through my dry styled hair and it makes my hair look amazing and i am deffo going to repurchase!

4) Katy Perry Purr Perfume
I bought this perfume quite a while ago and i actually used it up a little while ago but i kept the bottle because it looks so cute, the scent of this smells to me like coconut or that smell you get when you walk past a hairdressers again that might sound gross but trust me it smells so nice! I'm not sure if i would jump straight into repurchasing it now although maybe i will in the future.

5) Zoella Tuti Fruity Scrubbing me Softly Body Scrub
I adore this product so much I love the smell and it leaves your skin feeling beautiful! the scent also lingers for ages which you don't usually get with body scrubs! i was so sad when Zoë announced that they were going to be discontinued that i stocked up and bought 6 of them haha, also you may be able to see that i haven't quite finished this yet but i threw out my empty tub and this is almost finished so this counts right?

6) Biore Charcoal Pore Strips
I used these up but I don't think i will be buying them again in a hurry just because i don't really think they did much, they reduced the oil on my nose but it didn't really extract anything form it so i still have a few blackheads, then were also quite painful to remove so i think ill stick to my scrubs instead!

7) Soap and Glory Pillow Pump Lip Gloss
I defiantly won't be repurchasing this product in a hurry, i think this is a typical example of false advertising because it didn't plump my lips in the slightest, it just tingled a little bit and that was all , i noticed absolutely no difference so i just used it as a normal lip gloss just to finish it up.

8) Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
I love this mascara the wand has natural bristles which i love and it makes your eyelashes look so thick and long as if you have false eyelashes on, I won't be repurchasing this one yet just because there are a few other mascaras i would also like to try but i deffo will in the future!

Product I Regret Buying!

Hello my Lovelies, today I am going to be sharing with you a product that I regret buying and that product is called the "Easystr8" I bought this product around December 2015/January 2016, I bought it directly from the eaststr8 website and paid around £60 ish pounds for it. I was so excited to try it I thought it would save me so much time straightening my hair, but oh boy was I wrong. Every single time I've tried it, it has done absolutely nothing for my hair however I always gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried it again, I even looked up videos on youtube that show you how to use it, followed the instructions step by step and still nothing, I had even tried putting it to the highest heat setting and still nothing so, I have now come to the conclusion that it does not work. I don't know if its a faulty batch or whether the product just doesn't work on my particular hair but it did not work for me.

As you can see the picture on the left is before I used the "eaststr8" and on the right is the after picture and you can see there is barely any difference between the two pictures, my hair was still left frizzy and crinkly which is not the polka straight texture I like my hair to be which I can easily achieve with normal hair straighteners.

This is what the product looks like, just like a normal hairbrush but it has little prong in it that heat up and supposedly straighten your hair. Its also a pretty metallic pink.

One thing I didn't like was the fact that the little rubber blobs on the end of the bristles are so painful to brush through your hair because it snags and pulls, it also did rip quite a lot of my hair out which you might be able to see form the picture.

Another thing that I did not like and was actually kind of annoying was that the on/off button and the heat adjustment buttons are on the side of the brush where obviously your hand or your fingers will go, so when you are combing this through your hair it is very easy to change the settings or turn the brush off, this happened to me numerous times.

Overall I could not get this product to work for me I have tried to use it so many times and still no results. I think this product was a really good idea but unfortunately doesn't work how it had been expected to so its back to the old faithful straighteners for me. Just a little disclaimer this is not me bashing or slandering the product creators I am simply just giving my opinions on how it worked for me, I'm sure some people love this products and works for them perfectly but this is just how I feel about it.

My Make-up brush Collection/Review

Hello Everybody!!

I have slowly been adding to my collection of Real Techniques make-up brushes (created by Youtuber sisters Sam Chapman and Nicola Haste otherwise known as Pixiwoo)I have been using them for quite a while now so I thought it would the perfect opportunity to show them to you and do a little review at the same time!

The first brush in my collection is the "Expert Face Brush" (£5.85) and was the first ever Real Techniques brush that I'd ever bought. This brush is what made me fall in love with the brushes from this range because it was literally the best brush that I had ever used on my face! it blends soo good!! I also love the fact that the hairs on the brush are synthetic as many brushes are made form hose hair which I am allergic to. These brushes don't make your make-up look cakey or streaky, the don't leave hair all over your face and they are literally the softest brushes that I have ever felt!!

Next I bought 2 brush sets and two single brushes. The first brush set was the "Core Collection" (£11.71) this set consists of a Detailer Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush, Buffing Brush and a contour brush. The second set was the "Starter Set" (£11.71) this set included a Base Shadow Brush, Deluxe Crease Brush, Fine Liner Brush and a Brow Brush.I then bought a Stippling Brush (£6.50) and a Lash/Brow Groomer (£3.90). I use the Buffer Brush or the Stippling Brush for applying my foundation, the Deluxe Crease Brush for blinding my concealer, the Base Shadow Brush for applying my second eyelid colour, the Lash/Brow Groomer for coming my eyebrow pencil through and the Fine Liner Brush for lining my lips.

On my next shopping spree I came across the "Nicks Picks" range and just fell in love with how they looked and I heard that they were limited addition so I had to grab them while I could. This set included a Base Shadow Brush, Cheek Brush, Duo Fibre Face Brush, Eye Liner Brush and an Angled Shadow Brush. I use the Base Shadow Brush to apply my first eyelid colour, the Cheek Brush obviously for my blusher, the Duo Fibre face brush for applying my hi light, the Eye Liner brush for smudging out my eye liner under the waterline and the Angled Shadow Brush for blending eye-shadow through the crease . This set costs £19.51.

I then bought the Powder Brush (£6.50) which I use for applying my contour bronzer or my face powder.

Last but not least, my favourite brush is the Real Techniques "301" brush from their "Bold Metals" range (£16.91) This brush is honestly the most beautiful brush I have EVER seen and I also you this for contouring.

I have been using these brushes a lot and they are the main brushes in my collection other than brushes that have come with pallets or ones that I have been given for Christmas and birthdays. Although they are quite expensive that are waayy worth the money and are extremely good quality as well as doing an excellent job at blending. They are also very easy to clean (if done properly) and don't take long to dry after cleaning at all! they also don't leave hairs all over your face which is always good. In my opinion if you want you make up to look professional (which I am not) then you have to have the right tools for the job so it really is worth investing in good quality make up brushes. I feel as though these brushes truly live up to the hype and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Urban Decay NAKED palette Review

Hello Everyone!!

I've been wanting to do a review on this for a while but I wanted to make sure that I used it a lot to get a fair opinion on it!

I was always quite sceptical of the naked palettes because they are priced at around
£36.00 (it may have gone up now but that was how much it was when I bought it) but I was sure that you could find a high-street/drug-store dupe that was just as good, however after hearing so many people raving about how amazing it is I decided to buy it and it did not disappoint! I use this palette every day, I LOVE IT.

This palette contains 12 colours that you would easily be able to achieve multiple looks with. 10 of the colours are shimmery ans 2 of them are matte with the tiniest bit of glitter in them. The palette also comes with a make up brush however I do not use it.

All of the colours in the palette are extremely pigmented ( I will leave pictures of swatches below) even without primer, obviously they would be a bit brighter with primer but you could easily go without which I think is very hard to find especially in a high-street/drug-store brand of eye-shadow. The product also stays put for hours however is very easily removed with make up remover or wipes.

The colours in this palette are: browns, golds, pinks, purples and greys therefore many looks can be achieve from a glam golden goddess eye look to a dark smoky party look.

I will include some different pictures of me wearing the eye-shadows down below.

The colours that I use for my everyday make up are: Virgin (to highlight brow bone) Sin (to highlight the inside corners of my eyes) side car (eyelid) Half Baked (blended next to Side Car on eyelid)

Smog (blended next to Half Baked on eye lid) and Dark Horse (blended into crease).

All though this palette is not cheap it lasts an extremely long time! I've had mine for a year and I haven't even hit pan on any colours yet, this is amazing considering I use it every day, as well as this all of the colours look exactly the same on your eyes as they do in the palette so I think it's definitely worth the price! and I will be purchasing the other palettes too!
