My Top 13 Makeup Tips!

Hello Everyone!!
I know I've been a bit M.I.A but I'm back now with another post for you all.
When i was just starting out with makeup i was always looking for really useful makeup tips but back then the Internet wasn't as big as it is now so i had to learn myself along the way so here are the I have found the most useful...

Tip Number 1:

If you want a sharp line on the outside edge of your eyeshadow just use a strip of sellotape and carefully stick to the edge of your eye, apply your eye makeup as normal and then gently peel off the tape and you are left with a dead straight line, this also works with liquid eyeliner!

Tip Number 2:

If you have hooded eyes then extend your crease colour up a little bit and smoke out to make the effect of a crease.

Tip Number 3:
To get the fullest effect of your under eye concealer apply in a triangle shape under your eye, then blend with a makeup sponge and your under eyes will look flawless!

Tip Number 4:

Apply white eyeliner to your water line to make your eyes appear bigger and more awake.

Tip Number 5:

Always use a primer as a makeup base, this will help you to get the fullest out of your products and it increases pigmentation so a little bit of product will go a very long way!

Tip Number 6:

Apply some light shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye, this will make your eyes look brighter, more awake and give you a little bit of extra distance between your eyes.

Tip Number 7:

For fuller looking eyelashes, apply one coat of mascara and let it dry completely, then add another coat, this will darken, widen and elongate your eyelashes.

Tip Number 8:

Make sure you know your eye shape to ensure that you can use your eye products to their fullest potential.

Tip Number 9:

The photos don't do this one much justice but trust me it works! If you want your eyebrows to look bolder take an angled brush and some concealer then draw around the edge of your eyebrows and carefully blend out.

Tip Number 10:

Always blend your foundation down your neck and sometimes chest if necessary, this will help you to avoid tide lines and will make a slightly darker foundation look more natural.

Tip Number 11:

Apply highlighter to your cupids bow to make your lips appear fuller.

Tip Number 12:

When you want natural looking bigger lips use a lip liner a couple of shades darker than your lipstick and draw slightly outside of the line, however do not extend your lip over your cupids bow as this will make your drawn on lips look more obvious.

Tip Number 13:

Always apply your makeup up in a natural light, if you apply your make up in artificial light the when you step outside your make up may look too bold or too dark so by using natural light you will be able to properly see how much or how little make up you need to use.

And that's all the tips I have for now, I'm sure i have more but I just can't remember them at the minute haha. If you have used any of these tips then leave a comment below telling me how they worked out for you! and i will be back next week with another post. Thanks for reading! ☺♡
