My Top 13 Makeup Tips!

Hello Everyone!!
I know I've been a bit M.I.A but I'm back now with another post for you all.
When i was just starting out with makeup i was always looking for really useful makeup tips but back then the Internet wasn't as big as it is now so i had to learn myself along the way so here are the I have found the most useful...

Tip Number 1:

If you want a sharp line on the outside edge of your eyeshadow just use a strip of sellotape and carefully stick to the edge of your eye, apply your eye makeup as normal and then gently peel off the tape and you are left with a dead straight line, this also works with liquid eyeliner!

Tip Number 2:

If you have hooded eyes then extend your crease colour up a little bit and smoke out to make the effect of a crease.

Tip Number 3:
To get the fullest effect of your under eye concealer apply in a triangle shape under your eye, then blend with a makeup sponge and your under eyes will look flawless!

Tip Number 4:

Apply white eyeliner to your water line to make your eyes appear bigger and more awake.

Tip Number 5:

Always use a primer as a makeup base, this will help you to get the fullest out of your products and it increases pigmentation so a little bit of product will go a very long way!

Tip Number 6:

Apply some light shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eye, this will make your eyes look brighter, more awake and give you a little bit of extra distance between your eyes.

one coat of mascara
two coats of mascara

Tip Number 7:

For fuller looking eyelashes, apply one coat of mascara and let it dry completely, then add another coat, this will darken, widen and elongate your eyelashes.

Tip Number 8:

Make sure you know your eye shape to ensure that you can use your eye products to their fullest potential.

Tip Number 9:

The photos don't do this one much justice but trust me it works! If you want your eyebrows to look bolder take an angled brush and some concealer then draw around the edge of your eyebrows and carefully blend out.

Tip Number 10:

Always blend your foundation down your neck and sometimes chest if necessary, this will help you to avoid tide lines and will make a slightly darker foundation look more natural.

Tip Number 11:

Apply highlighter to your cupids bow to make your lips appear fuller.

Tip Number 12:

When you want natural looking bigger lips use a lip liner a couple of shades darker than your lipstick and draw slightly outside of the line, however do not extend your lip over your cupids bow as this will make your drawn on lips look more obvious.

Tip Number 13:

Always apply your makeup up in a natural light, if you apply your make up in artificial light the when you step outside your make up may look too bold or too dark so by using natural light you will be able to properly see how much or how little make up you need to use.

And that's all the tips I have for now, I'm sure i have more but I just can't remember them at the minute haha. If you have used any of these tips then leave a comment below telling me how they worked out for you! and i will be back next week with another post. Thanks for reading! ☺♡

Mariah Carey M.A.C Haul

Hello you bunch of beauts!

I'm having some trouble sleeping tonight so i thought i would surprise you all with another post!

I don't know if you've heard but recently Mariah Carey has released a makeup line with MAC and its so beautiful i knew i had to have it in my collection however most of it was sold out so here are the bits that i liked and were still available...

1) Rainbow Interlude
At first glance i was like ah its just another sheer glittery lip gloss but when i picked it up and had a proper look it was way more than that! instead of just the normal glitter these are tiny pink and silvery glitter flakes which have a way more sparkly effect than your average glitter lip gloss and i think this would look so pretty over lipstick or on its own!

2) My Mimi
I knew i wanted this highlighter from the moment i set my eyes on it not only is the packaging for all of these products so cute and glitzy but the attention to detail for the product itself is insane its so beautiful, also i don't own a deep gold highlight so i just had to have it, its the most gorgeous gold shimmer with chinks of glitter that will make even the palest of people look like a bronzed goddess!

3) I'm that chick you like
There is not one colour in this little glittery pallet that i don't like they all look so pretty together and you can achieve so many different looks just with these four colours and i will be devastated when I've used them all up haha.

4) Lastly is, Sweet Sweet Fantasy
As you all may be able to tell from my previous posts, i am a massive fan of pinky coral shades of blusher and this one is so pretty, its the perfect shade of pinky coral for my pale complexion and it also has a tiny bit of shimmer to it which i don't think you can tell from the photos but believe me its there lol.

So that is all that i bought from the Mariah Carey mac range and it has not disappointed! please feel free to leave a comment letting me know which one is your favourite and if you have any of these! Thank you so much for reading ! ☺♡

Why I'm Terrified of Santa!

Hello Everyone,

So today i thought i would share with you a  quick but pretty funny (but maybe not so funny on my part lol) story on why i have always been petrified of Santa.

So! for as long as i can remember i have been petrified of Santa and when my mum told me this story it all made sense,  when i was a toddler my mum and myself went to one of my favourite toy shops in my little UK town, in this toy shop was a man dressed as father Christmas (children, if you're reading this, it wasn't a man pretending it was the real deal!) side note i have always felt a little bit sketched out by people dressed up as various things such as Santa or the people that dress in the fuzzy animal costume things etc. So my mum said she could already tell that i was a little bit freaked out but she just let me do my own thing to see how i got on around him, so of i went on my merry little way, then my mum says that the Santa man starts to walk over towards me to which i start to run away from him hysterically crying, but instead of this guy thinking oh crap I've just mortified this little girl, he continued to chase me around the shop which obviously terrified me even more so my mum goes over to him and tells him to stop chasing me, but he just ignores her and carries on chasing me anyway, thinking back in how this must have looked literally makes me laugh out loud but eat the time i was probably anything but amused by this lol.

So my mum figures out that this Santa obviously isn't going to stop chasing me she picks me up and starts having a full blown argument with this man in the middle of the toy shop ( which i obv don't even remember) telling him about how terrified he has made me and stuff like i said i don't remember any of this so i don't know exactly what she said but this ended in my mum making a complaint to the manager and we never went back to that shop around Christmas time again haha i don't know of he got sacked or anything we didn't stick around to find out lol, so even though i don't remember this happening it must have subconsciously embedded into my memory and given me a phobia of Santa haha.

Another time my dad dressed up as Santa one year and as soon as he entered the room i bolted lol everyone else was loving it but nope not me, whenever i watch the tape back it makes be chuckle a bit because everyone else is laughing having a great time and I'm just screaming in the corner haha ( bearing in mind i was about six when this happened) also whenever i saw a saints in the street or anything i always veer of to the other side because it still creeps me out haha, so obv my mum had to tell me from a very young age that Santa wasn't real ( kids that last sentence was a lie, he is 100% real) because otherwise i would just lose it every time i saw him haha.

So that's it for this weeks blog post! i hope you enjoyed it and gave you a little chuckle haha if anyone else has experienced anything similar leave me a comment below i would love to hear it! also don't forget to share with your friends it would be much appreciated! until next time.. thanks for reading ☺♡

Hello My Lovelies!

I know I haven't posted on a while but I have been unable to the past two weeks because i actually had some concerts that i was attending which was very exciting!
but the weekly upload schedule is back to normal now so fear not!

As its getting verrrry close to Christmas now i thought i would put together a little gift guide fir those of you that are struggling with what to buy people so hopefully this helps!

Number 1- people that love luxury body products
This Ted Baker Treasure Chest is perfect for someone who loves to pamper themselves, it has all the body products in all the scents and the best part is that this chest was an absolute steal! I got it from boots and is £25.00 down from £50.00 ( I say currently because I'm not sure how long this deal is on for) I know AMAZING! Also the Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille Honey Bath, this bath product smells like heaven it so lovely however its rather pricey at £33.00 from House of Fraser.

Number 2- The Photography Lover in Your Life
This Fujifilm install mini 8 is perfect for people that like to capture those special moments, they come in a variety of colours and costs £64.99 in Argos. I use my one all the time and I love how retro it makes the pictures look!.

Number 3- For the Adult Disney Lover
These Disney figures were given to me in past birthdays and christmases and as a Disney lover myself i absolutely fell in love with them! you can buy them directly from the Disney store or from H Samuel i won't put the prices as the price varies depending on what one you buy but they are so gorgeous! you could also but them these books from Amazon the big one is called the Disney book and is £9.00 from amazon I'm not sure if they are still doing it but my book came with an original cell from the film Brave which was an awesome surprise! the other is Walt Disney the biography which is currently £14.94 from Amazon.

Number 4- For the Child Disney Lover
These Disney books would be perfect for a bedtime story the illustrations are beautiful and the whole book as a whole is amazing, they have literally every Disney book you could think of and i got these 2 for £10.00 from HMV, The ones in this picture are Frozen, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Snow White and the Little Mermaid.

Number 5- People With Pets
I found these very cute dog parcel boxes from pets at home so I bought one for my dogs with was £15.00 and one for my cats which was £10.00. Each box send out is different because they want it to be a surprise for the owner as well as their pet and they give you such a good amour of stuff for them money, i wound list the things that came in mine just in case anyone gets the same as me i don't want to ruin it for them!

Number 6- The Home ware Lover
I know so many people that love the little homely touches like cushions and flowers so what better gift to get them than some little homely touches! i found these fawn and Santa cushions from Asda for £5.00 each, The copper photo frame is from heals and cost £24.00, The flowers are form next and they cost £12.00, The marble and copper coasters were from Etsy and cost £35.04 and lasts the candle holder is from Anthropologie which i believe they don't sell anymore but they sell similar ones on Etsy.

Number 7- For the Perfume Lover
I know it is very tricky to pick fragrances for someone so my advise would be to only buy it if you 100% know what scents they like but if you get it right it can be such a lovely gift! the three in the photo which are some of my favourites are DKNY Be Delicious, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream and lastly Laura Mercier ambre vanille which if you remember the name of the bath product earlier you will notice that these are the same scent so those could even go together as a gift!

Number 8- For the Makeup Lover
Have you noticed one of your friends or family members eyeing up a certain makeup product? why not but it for them, then your guaranteed that they will love it! Here are some pf my favourite to give you an idea of what to buy them: urban decay moon dust pallet £35.00, Urban Decay Naked Pallet £38.50, Tarte in bloom pallet £33.00, Morphe Fall into Frost pallet £22.50, Makeup Revolution pallet £9.99, Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlight glow kit £31.81, some of the real technique brushes (prices vary)  Tarte Water foundation £28.00, Benefit high beam £19.50, Nars sheer glow £27.90, Mac pigment £16.00, Mac loose glitter £16.00. I also thought that the pixiwoo Face book would be great for a make up lover or someone who is just experimenting with makeup because it has everything you need know how about make up  in it this is £9.99 form Amazon.

Number 9- For the Food/ Cooking Lovers
These kinds of books are amazing for cooking/ baking lovers because their is a variety of recipes and some are healthy and some are not so healthy, also all of the recipes are really easy to follow which i love! the names and prices of these books are: Jamie's 30 minute meals £6.00 Amazon, Eat Well Move Better And Feel Awesome by the Lean Machines £11.89 Amazon, Live Fast Lose Weight by Charlotte Crosby £7.49 Amazon and finally Tanya Bakes by Tanya Burr £8.49 from Amazon.

Number 10- For the older generation
I have bought these for my grandparents because as you may already know from your own grand parents they love things about the war that they grew up in (ww2) so i bought them DVDs of war documentaries ww2 in colour four DVD set £15.99 Amazon ww2 in colour ten DVD set £18.69, I also bought the new dads army DVD because its something my step grandad loves to watch but he hasn't seen the new film yet so it made sense this was £5.00 from amazon and then my Nan is more into war lifestyle so i bought her the diary of Anne Frank because i have read this and its such an amazing eye opening true story that i think she will love to learn about! this was £3.99 from Amazon ( don't worry i am buying her more haha).

Number 11- For The Nail Lover
Nail polish is such a great but easy gift because you can just buy any kind and the chances are they will probably love it! i won't list the names or prices of these polishes in the photos mainly because the names have rubbed off so i can't look up the price, sorry about that!

Number 12- Youtube/ Celeb Lovers
Most youtubers have books so they are perfect gifts for your family members that watch their videos, most of them also have other products too for example Tanya Burr has her makeup and nail polishes, Zoella has her bath and home products and Pointless blog has his clothing merch so you could also buy them those as well and they will go down a treat!

Number 13- The music/ Concert Lovers
Finally what i would consider to be a really great present is merch of the persons favourite singer/ performer you can buy these directly from the performers website so they easy to get hold of, i actually got lots of merch for my own family members for example i got my dad some Paul Weller merch and my brother some drake merch and you know they will love it because it of some of their favourite people!

And that's it for today's video, feel free to leave a comment below if you found this helpful i would love to know! and also feel free to share with your friends it would be much appreciated! until next time thanks for reading! ☺♡
